I wish we had discovered this amazing place sooner. We are making up for lost time. The French onion soup is the best ever. The crab cake is delicious. The watermelon and heirloom tomato salad is a party in my mouth. It is seasonal. You need to go soon to experience this one. The scallops are the best I have ever had. The pork chop is incredible. The short rib… I did on recommendation on the server. It is something I normally would not order. It was incredible. So tender! The gravy/ sauce was delectable. The dessert … crème brûlée , lemon tart and chocolate mousse. I’d have a hard time saying which is my favorite. Lunch is fast service and affordable. Brunch is a treat. The Dinner menu is my favorite. I hear the wine selection is over the top. The cocktails leaving the bar look amazing. I prefer to eat my calories rather than drink them. But, they have been tempting me. Jonathan, the owner , and his staff are top notch.

Sat at the bar with Jeff. He gave a solid suggestion of the Pork Chop and it did not disappoint. Juicy, and bursting with flavor.Tom says his is Brussels are light and have a subtle flavor without the oily feel. The Frites are spectacular and the secret aioli a perfect dipping match. Went with the Lemon Tart and it was creamy and bursting with lemony goodness. A nice meal at a nice place

Let me first say that Levi, our server, was fantastic! The food was delicious, very up scale but filling portions and perfect seasoning. My father had the croquette monsieur with a sunny side up egg and I had the salmon with broccoli rabe and hollandaise. Not a crumb was left and the bottle of wine was empty. The wine selection is top of the line and the food was perfect. Only downside was the noise level, a large party came in and was having a wonderful time but with the loud noise it was hard for us to have a conversation at a normal level. Highly recommend for a fabulous meal with a perfect pairing.

Glad we tried HSV. Their Restaurant Week menu seemed right up our alley. We parked on the street, their outside was cute (inside seating during the winter), walked down a few steps and inside to a cozy entrance and bar. The inside is small with tables, but warm. It was great for us. Had a Pimm’s Cup and Old Fashioned. We were able to try deviled eggs, french onion soup, salmon with vegetables, steak with lightly dressed salad and french fries, and then we each chose a different dessert. Levi was a fantastic server, perfectly attentive and not over the top. The person who greeted us and answered the phone (their phone rang as we walked in), was very kind when we arrived, during visit and when we left. Recommend.

We had a really nice lunch here. The restaurant is French inspired. We had the salmon dip, potato and leek soup, French onion soup grilled cheese, and steak frites. All of it was absolutely delicious. They also have a great cocktail and wine list. We sat inside but they also have a really cute outside seating area along the sidewalk with awnings for shade. The service was great too!

Brunch at Hampton Street Vineyard was an experience we won’t soon forget. From the moment we arrived—just 15 minutes after making our reservation—we were met with warmth, efficiency, and a level of hospitality that immediately set the restaurant apart. The maître d' greeted us with a genuine smile, already aware of our airborne seafood allergy, and had thoughtfully arranged for us to be seated outside to ensure our comfort. Her attention to detail didn’t stop there—she also took the time to introduce us to our server and provide a thoughtful preview of what we could expect from our meal. Then came Anne, our server, who transformed what could have been a simple brunch into something extraordinary. She was the perfect combination of personable and professional, balancing attentiveness with a charismatic energy that made us feel like more than just guests—like we were truly being cared for. She guided us through the menu with insightful recommendations, and every suggestion she made was spot-on. The eggs were a revelation, with layers of flavor that unfolded with each bite, and when the maître d' returned to check in, we seized the opportunity to learn more about the spice blends and techniques that made our steaks so unforgettable. It was clear that every element of the meal had been carefully curated, and the result was nothing short of remarkable. Just when we thought the experience couldn’t get any better, dessert arrived—and we were proven gloriously wrong. Every dish was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation, but the brown butter tart with Chantilly cream was an undeniable standout. Rich, decadent, and perfectly balanced, it was the kind of dessert that lingers in your memory long after the last bite. Paired with their refreshing cranberry mimosas, it was the perfect indulgence, and we happily savored every moment. Beyond the exceptional food, what truly set Hampton Street Vineyard apart was the atmosphere—an inviting blend of elegance and Southern charm that made it impossible to rush through the meal. The hospitality extended by Kat, Gage, and Anne made us feel as if we were longtime regulars rather than first-time visitors, and by the time we finally tore ourselves away from the table, one thing was certain: we would be back. With food this extraordinary, service this impeccable, and an ambiance that makes you want to linger just a little longer, there’s no question—we’re already counting down the days until our next visit.

A small upscale dining experience. The food was complex, with layers of flavor, the menu is simple, the drink menu is extensive, and the strawberry shortcake was a dessert to die for.
